I just read How to Raise Generous Teenagers. My adopted 21 year old is living out of state. I sent her off to live with my former neighbor to get away from the friends she developed here. It’s been a very difficult past few years and includes her unplanned pregnancy, yet her unselfish choice of an open adoption. Now she is coming home to visit for Christmas. As she is learning disabled, she is emotionally still a teenager. That is why I was drawn to the article. Thanks. As I prayed over the article and how the Lord would have me respond, I found several ways of modeling generosity and blessing others as we enjoy our time together over a very short week. I continue to pray for the Lord’s calling on her life to come forth.
