Plenty—don’t you just love that word? More than enough, more than what’s needed or necessary, plenty implies that there is an abundance.
I’m afraid we don’t walk in the plenty that is offered to us—I don’t walk in plenty, not all the time.
In fact, a friend and I were talking a few days ago about scarcity—this wild and ungoldly fear that we might not have enough. Enough time, enough grace, enough patience—enough of whatever we need to do the next thing required. Wobbling on the tightrope of scarcity, we hang on to so little. The tighter we clutch, the less we hold. And just as we feared, our patience, our joy, our peace escapes us.
But this is not how it is with God.
The storehouse for our lives that never empties, His grace has not run out nor has affection for his children waned. Impossible. He has plenty. He’s our plenty.
I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. John 10:10
In Jesus we have everything we need and when we refocus on Him—the fruitfulness of walking with Him, the wealth of wisdom He offers, the bounteous grace that covers us from head to toe—our affection for Him is renewed. That’s where we want to live.
For months we’ve been praying and working toward launching a new event. We’ve gathered a group of leaders who are eager to pour out God’s truth as it’s been given to them—teachers like Lisa Harper, Lysa TerKeurst, Kelly Minter, the ladies behind She Reads Truth, Christy Nockels—and many more.
We are kicking off this December with dates to follow in 2016. We are excited and humbled by the opportunity to share the heartbeat of this event with you.
His love multiplies. His mercy is boundless.
His grace is gratuitous. His forgiveness is excessive.
His kindness is generous. His faithfulness overflows.
In Him, our lives can be ABUNDANT.
Registration for Abundance is open. We are praying that floodgates open, too. Come join us.
