With our emphasis on knowing God’s Word in 2018, we’re excited for this new series on spiritual disciplines. Each month, we’ll unpack a different spiritual discipline, defining it as well as offering some ideas for practical application!
This month, we’re taking a look at the spiritual discipline of perseverance, and we’re going to dive into this discipline a little differently than we have in other months! With our upcoming release of Lisa Harper’s new study on Job, we wanted to share an interview Lisa conducts with Christine Caine as a part of the video sessions. Christine shares some powerful things about how God has used her painful past to impact others’ futures, and her words are a real look into purposeful perseverance in times of pain. Christine says so beautifully, “God never says that all things are going to be good. He says he is going to take everything—bad and good—and work them together for our good and for His glory.” Watch the video below to hear more from Christine:
