Lifeway Women invites you to experience a brand-new digital event, Cultivate Online: A Digital Gathering Around the Word! Cultivate was born from the heart of author and speaker Kelly Minter. Kelly’s heart is to serve women and the local church, and she believes that we are all hungry for two things: truth and community. That’s why she created this unique event experience with the desire to be simple, welcoming, and truth-filled.
A breath of fresh air, Cultivate focuses on simplicity—providing space to learn, sing, laugh, and encounter the beauty of the person of Jesus. For the first time ever, you have a chance to experience Cultivate right from your home or church with Cultivate Online!
At Cultivate Online, you will experience four main elements:
- Word.
First and foremost, the heart of Cultivate Online is to dig into the truths of the Bible. Kelly will teach from the pages of Scripture, focusing on the person of Jesus. Together, we’ll see how Jesus truly does change everything. You’ll walk away encouraged and challenged by God’s Word from three teaching sessions.
- Worship.
In addition to author and speaker, Kelly is a gifted singer-songwriter. She has gathered the best of the best Nashville musicians—led by Haley Fry—to create a beautiful and unique worship experience. Singing both classic hymns and today’s worship songs, you will be refreshed by three acoustic worship opportunities. There’s also a “Lively Hymn Sing,” complete with a fiddle!
- Prayer.
Cultivate Online focuses on the importance of prayer, carving out space to encounter Christ through guided times of prayer and reflection. You’ll have opportunities to pray through guided prompts both individually and within our online chat room with women from all over the world.
- Mission.
From her life-changing experiences in the Amazon and Moldova, Kelly was inspired to partner in a mission with Justice & Mercy International. You’ll hear more from Kelly’s heart and be challenged with ways to make justice personal in your own life.
In addition to the four core elements of Cultivate, we’ve added in some extra fun for Cultivate Online. You may know Kelly as a gardener, writer, and musician, but did you know that she is also a fantastic cook? At Cultivate Online, we have a special segment called “In the Kitchen” where Kelly will share some of her favorite recipes. Don’t worry, we’ll also have a lunch break, so you can try one of her recipes yourself or grab a meal with your friends.
With these special elements, Cultivate Online is the perfect way to spend your Saturday. The best part is that not only can this event be experienced individually or with a small group of friends, but also with your church. We know that times are uncertain, so we’ve provided multiple options for both in-person and digital attendees.
