For October’s reading plan, we wanted to read about mental health. In Genesis 1 and 2, God called all He had created good. He called humans “very good.” In Genesis 3, sin and death entered the world. Mental health suffers because all creation suffers from sin and brokenness. We grow tired, become anxious, get depressed.
God asks us to love Him with all our hearts, souls, and minds (Deuteronomy 6:5; Matthew 22:37). He wants our minds, as well as our hearts and souls, to be devoted to Him.
This month, we’ll read passages of Scripture that talk about that—loving God with all of us. We’ll read honest psalms that cry out to God in the midst of anguish. We’ll read of kings turning back to God’s statutes in order to help the people grow in their knowledge and love of God. We’ll read stories of physical healing and health because our bodies and minds are connected. And we’ll read about the Counselor Jesus left for us, the Holy Spirit who lives inside of us as believers.
We hope through reading these passages, we’ll all remember God wants all of us to love Him, and that He is with us always.

I thank you for sharing this bible study with all.
I love reading the study plan that LifeWay Women has made available to all.
I love reading the study plan each month. It is a true blessing to me.
I’m looking forward to this “mental health” Biblical Study. The verse, 1 Corinthians 10: 13 is beautifully printed and I look forward to studying deeper. I really struggle with the ‘social media’ ‘devise-ness’ in the way we use it. I want to do the study and will. Thank you for this opportunity.
Thank you for sharing. Looking forward to this.
This is a great resource.. mental health issues are increasing with all that is going on, and getting help is difficult with the “shame” and fear that often accompanies it.
Thank you for a safe place to find help and fellowship in this time of isolation and uncertainty. ❤️🙏🏻
Love this!!
Thank you for sharing!!!
