We can’t believe the Elijah online Bible study experience with Priscilla Shirer starts in just a few days! For those of you who are already joining us, we can’t wait to study alongside you. Since announcing this new type of online Bible study experience, we’ve gotten some amazing questions from you all, so we wanted to take a moment to answer some of the most frequently asked questions for you below!

What Type of Bonus Content Can We Expect?
We’re so excited to offer some exclusive video content for those joining the online Bible study! This will include some fun behind-the-scenes extras (like Priscilla’s suggestions for studying God’s Word, why she wrote the Elijah study, a special introduction to the study, and more), which you can watch as soon as you’ve signed up on the online Bible study site. Each week before the session video posts, we’ll also be posting short videos from Priscilla with some encouragement and suggestions for your week of study ahead.
I Heard There’s a Special Instagram Account for the Elijah Online Bible Study. How Does That Tie in With Everything Else?
Yes! In addition to the opportunity to discuss the teaching videos with thousands of women on the online Bible study site each week, there is also an Instagram where Priscilla will be going live throughout our study together! Be sure you’re following @elijahonlinebiblestudy to hear encouragement from Priscilla and for quotes, verses, and questions from the study you can share with others!
What Do I Need to Do Before February 16?
- Be sure to go ahead and register, especially if you’re wanting to purchase the bundle that includes the print Bible study book. If you’re still waiting on your Bible study book, you can view the first week of study here!
- Be sure to follow @elijahonlinebiblestudy on Instagram to see Priscilla go live throughout our study!
- Go ahead and sign in at https://onlinestudy.lifeway.com/v/ElijahOBS and watch “Introduction to the Elijah Online Bible Study.”
- You’ll also want to watch the “Pre-Session 1” video before we jump into Session 1 on February 16. We’ll make the pre-session bonus videos available on Sundays before each session, so be on the lookout for more coming once our study starts!
That’s it! On February 16, we’ll watch the Session 1 video together and discuss. The session 1 video will go live at midnight CT, so you’re welcome to jump in whenever is most convenient for you! Then, you’ll do your Week 1 homework from the Bible study book before we meet again.

I lead a Community Group. Does the Elijah Bible Study – the book with a study included OR do we need to purchase the book and the Study in order for all of us to be answering the same questions weekly?
Hi Kristy! Thank you for your interest in Elijah! The Bible study book includes a 7 session study that you and your group can discuss every week. There is not a separate Bible study and book. Why are the teaching videos only available through May 16th? I’m confused. Does that mean if I haven’t finished the study I’ve paid for, I won’t be able to finish it???
Hi April, Thank you so much for your interest in Elijah! Due to copyright laws, the videos are only available for a certain amount of time. There is an option to rent or purchase just the ones you need after May 16. Here’s a link to that information:

Loving the Elijah Bible Study, and have been challenged, convicted and renewed. Another lady from church asked where the Elijah Bible Study was filmed, and we started talking about how lovely the setting is and it looks like it would be a fantastic retreat. Is it possible to use this study in a group setting?
Absolutely Brenda! If all of you are meeting for discussion ONLY via zoom, then everyone needs to register for their own video access. They can watch a session and then you can zoom to discuss the videos. OR, you can purchase the group use bundle and share your screen for the group to see. The group use can be used in person or via zoom. This just takes care of any copyright issues.
